Customers Dissapointed with Drybuddy Performance and Poor Customer Support

How is Enuresis Solutions LLC, the manufacturer of DryBuddy Bedwetting Alarm and DryBuddyEZ Bedwetting Alarm still in business?

They do not stop from lying about theirproduct(s) and continue to trick customers to buy the junk they sell. A internet search on DryBuddy takes us to a Google cached link: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:sB69j9YXF_IJ:www.amazon.com/review/R1HBJUHBB0T76L+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

This and many more reviews forced Amazon.com to remove the DryBuddy Bedwetting Alarm altogether from its website.

Here is the review:

This review is from: DryBuddyEZ Bedwetting Alarm, Enuresis Alarm and Incontinence Alarm. Extra Low-Priced Complete Full-Featured Alarm. Multiple Attachments and Alarms (Sound & Vibration). Stainless Steel easy-to-use and easy-to-clean Sensor Clip. Get the Best for Much Less. Another Affordable Innovation from DryBuddy(TM). New for 2013.
I purchased the DryBuddyEZ bedwetting alarm for my son recently. At the time of the purchase, the product seemed to be a real bargain, almost like a money saving dream come true. I was hoping to cure my son's bed wetting for under $50 and this claimed to be the best, most advanced, innovative solution. I want to keep it short. I was wrong. My son has had no luck with this alarm. The product will NOT perform. There is a reason the unit sells for its price. It's not effective. The unit is compact, but very thick. It is uncomfortable and constantly hurt my son at night the few nights that he used it. The clip is absoloutely useless; it keeps falling off. I believe that the company realized that the clip was not useful and decided to add a pin later. However the pin also has a problem. The problem is that the pin connects the unit along the shoulder, horizontally and that is an unconventional fit for a child at night.
The sensor attachment is good, but the clip will not hold the underwear. It came of several times at night where it is to make secure connection with the underwear when my son moves. It came off so often that many times when he wet the clip was disconnected from the underwear and it missed the pee and the unit didn't beep. Note: If you have an older son, ages 6 and over, you will unnecessarily have to buy a longer sensor because the one that comes with the standard alarm is short. So be prepared to spend an extra $15 on an extra sensor.
Probably the biggest problem with this alarm is that no matter what, my son will not wake up to the alarm. The vibration is useless. Don't depend on that. The unit erratically vibrates like s few quarters in a box. Since the alarm unit is thick, the vibrations are significantly suppressed. If you need a good vibration in a bedwetting alarm, you may have to look elsewhere. The alarm has a strange trumpet sounds to wake up a child. This in my opinion is a big mistake. The unit did not wake him up - not once in over 1 week.
The alarm is not loud, vibration is weak, slip snaps from the underwear and it is very thick.
Over the last week, my son has wet at an average 2 times a night. The clip snapped out 6 times and the remaining times, the alarm did not wake him up. It's a disappointment that this alarm is preforming this poorly. It is not a manufacturing defect. It is the way this alarm operates. The alarm is not really fully functional in my opinion. I will not recommend this alarm. The alarm asks for patience, but this is not going to work with all the flaws in in the product.
If a low cost alarm is what you are looking for, I am not certain what options are there. I will keep looking, but not recommend this system. What you pay is what you get unfortunately and in my case, I am stuck with this one.

In what appears to be a strange response, Drybuddy actually threatens users who review products honestly with being associated with competitors - So much for being "The Bedst Enuresis Alarm"

Here is the response Drybuddy posted to the customer:

So by paing $29.99, you are getting a flawed product and providing feedback to DryBuddy. Recommended? I say NO! DO NOT BUY DRYBUDDY

Amazon.com criticizes the DryBuddyEZ Bedwetting Alarm

Amazon.com criticizes the new alarm for poor performance.
It appears that there are many parents who also believe that DryBuddy makes products without testing them. Their contract manufacturing facility in China is not ISO compliant. What that means is that you may (highly likely) get a lemon bedwetting alarm.
There is a reason DryBuddyEZ sells for $29.99. In our opinion, it doesn't work. But don't take our word for it. Here is another angry parent.

In the reply posted by the manufacturer, Enuresis Solutions LLC, the manufacturer admits that there may be problems and asks for help from parents to build a better product.

Essentially, you are part of a test group to give feedback to help them make better products and yes, you pay $29.99 to give them feedback.

Have been using this alarm for my daughter who just turned 6. Had high hopes but simply put, the alarm doesn't function as described by the manufacturer. It beeps randomly when there is no urine and when she is soaking wet, it does nothing.
There is a clip to secure the box in place with the t-shirt top, but it is almost useless. At night, the alarm unit came off several times and was on the bed. A better option was to use the pin. The wire that checks urine is OK, but the clip on the end which snaps into the underwear constantly clipped out of the underwear. The clip is not tight and that makes the underwear fall off. I had to use cotton padding between the clips to hold the underwear in place. Still, it would come off with a minor tug.
The first night, the alarm worked and woke up my daughter once, but after that, it failed to deliver. It has been going off when it's in my hand for no reason and the last 4 night that she has used it, the alarm has not played the tune to wake her up. One thing to note is that the tune the alarm plays back is really very annoying. I wish they had alarm tones like a children's toy or something that she could correlate to.
Overall, I am not satisfied with the purchase. The seller explicitly mentions that they will not take a return for any reason. This unit is not going to work for my daughter as she has slept last 6 nights in a soaking bed with this alarm doing nothing.
I know it is not a faulty unit cause it beeps randomly. So that means the electronics is OK. But it is highly unreliable.

DryBuddy Bedwetting Alarm - Stay away, this enuresis alarm is BAD

Enuresis Solutions, maker of the bad DryBuddy Bedwetting Alarm states:
DryBuddyEZ Bedwetting Alarm, Enuresis Alarm and Incontinence Alarm.

The Honest Truth:
Amazon.com removed the alarm for poor performance and terrible customer reviews. Enuresis Associates does not manufacture the DryBuddy Alarm. it is manufactured by Shenzhen poshton Technology Co., Ltd.
They do the R&D and Enuresis Solutions packages, buts the silly name "DryBuddy" on it and screws you.

Simple Facts:
DryBuddy and DryBuddyEZ are sub-standard products manufactured by a Chinese contract manufacturer. The company manufactures many other bedwetting alarms including a well known and respectable Rodgers Wireless Bedwetting Alarm. The manufacturer will sell you alarms annd make the same one for you for under $5

The Conclusion:
DryBuddy Bedwetting Alarm, DryBuddyEZ Bedwetting Alarm are toys, not bedwetting alarms. Invest your money in a real alarm and get real results. Purchasing a DryBuddy Bedwetting Alarm from Enuresis Solutions is like throwing your money in the bin.
