Amazon.com criticizes the new alarm for poor performance.
It
appears that there are many parents who also believe that DryBuddy
makes products without testing them. Their contract manufacturing
facility in China is not ISO compliant. What that means is that you may
(highly likely) get a lemon bedwetting alarm.
There
is a reason DryBuddyEZ sells for $29.99. In our opinion, it doesn't
work. But don't take our word for it. Here is another angry parent.
In
the reply posted by the manufacturer, Enuresis Solutions LLC, the
manufacturer admits that there may be problems and asks for help from
parents to build a better product.
Essentially,
you are part of a test group to give feedback to help them make better
products and yes, you pay $29.99 to give them feedback.

Have
been using this alarm for my daughter who just turned 6. Had high hopes
but simply put, the alarm doesn't function as described by the
manufacturer. It beeps randomly when there is no urine and when she is
soaking wet, it does nothing.
There is a clip
to secure the box in place with the t-shirt top, but it is almost
useless. At night, the alarm unit came off several times and was on the
bed. A better option was to use the pin. The wire that checks urine is
OK, but the clip on the end which snaps into the underwear constantly
clipped out of the underwear. The clip is not tight and that makes the
underwear fall off. I had to use cotton padding between the clips to
hold the underwear in place. Still, it would come off with a minor tug.
The
first night, the alarm worked and woke up my daughter once, but after
that, it failed to deliver. It has been going off when it's in my hand
for no reason and the last 4 night that she has used it, the alarm has
not played the tune to wake her up. One thing to note is that the tune
the alarm plays back is really very annoying. I wish they had alarm
tones like a children's toy or something that she could correlate to.
Overall,
I am not satisfied with the purchase. The seller explicitly mentions
that they will not take a return for any reason. This unit is not going
to work for my daughter as she has slept last 6 nights in a soaking bed
with this alarm doing nothing.
I know it is not a faulty unit cause it beeps randomly. So that means the electronics is OK. But it is highly unreliable.
